Mavey Books is an independent bookstore located in Ardmore, carrying a wide range of titles with a focus on inclusive and diverse authors. The store is owned by Nadia, a mother of eight grown children, who opened the bookstore as a way to combine her interests in business, people, and literature.

Mavey Books offers fiction, nonfiction, poetry, and children’s literature. The store is a women-owned business with an eclectic, international background. A dedicated bookshelf in the store highlights Pippi Longstocking by Astrid Lindgren, a character known for independence and originality.
