MLK Spotlight Series: Ways to Honor, Celebrate, and Serve
Watch an Educational Documentary: See History Come to Life
Gather your family or class to watch a powerful documentary about Dr. King and the civil rights movement. Films like “Selma” or “King in the Wilderness” provide a deeper understanding of the struggles and triumphs of those who fought for equality. Documentaries spark meaningful conversations about justice, empathy, and social change. Use this time to reflect on how Dr. King’s message still resonates today and what we can do to continue his work.
Glide into Fun: Friday & Sunday Ice Skating at the Philadelphia Skating Club
Looking for some ice skating fun? Head to the Philadelphia Skating Club & Humane Society for public skating sessions on Fridays from 8:00 PM to 9:30 PM and Sundays from 1:45 PM to 3:15 PM. Admission is $10, with skate rentals available for $5. They also offer Learn to Skate classes and host special events like fundraisers. Grab your skates and enjoy the ice!
